Don’t let the Cabin Fever caused by COVID keep you from enjoying some holiday cheer and making merry memories!
Here are five ways to enjoy this festive season in the Toronto Area:
2. Book ahead to secure a time slot for ice skating in the city. There are 54 rinks to choose from including one at Nathan Phillips Square.
3. Take a day drive east of the city to Pingle’s Farm Market and enjoy their Christmas festivities. Kids can make and take a holiday craft, take a magical walk with Santa’s helpers, have a hot chocolate and take a (socially-distanced) photo with Santa Claus*. *Furbabies are welcome on Dec. 15th.
4. After dusk, head to Bowmanville to admire the Chirstmas Lights displayed on the beautiful homes and properties of the neighbourhood along Old Scugog Road. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank and leave at designated driveway.
5. Bake Christmas cookies for your neighbours and deliver them (distanced of course!) You may even feel moved to sing them a carol from across the way 🙂
